Heidi J. A. Carter (she/her/hers)

Heidi J. A. Carter is a content creator for Episcopal Relief & Development and builder of a resource for Commissions on Ministry regarding the call, claim, commissioning, and support of members of the Lay Order in Ministry. She is the co-author of the young adult module of "These Are Our Bodies." She is also a contributor to Church Publishing's "Planning for Rites and Rituals" and the educational materials in the General Convention's liturgical resource "I Will Bless You, and You Will Be A Blessing." She has been a keynoter and workshop presenter at Kanuga, president of Forma, diocesan convention speaker, and consultant and trainer with LeaderResources, primarily around issues of staffing, adult formation, and The Journey To Adulthood Parish Program of Spiritual Formation for over twenty years. She serves as a volunteer and board member with a variety of LGBTQiA agencies in St. Louis and Kansas City.
