Building Faith Basics: Intergenerational Ministry 101

About This Event

In this live Zoom meeting, Liz Perraud of GenOn Ministries and Sarah Bentley Allred (VTS ’19) will discuss the basics of intergenerational ministry and Christian formation. We will address what “intergenerational” means, why it matters, and where to start.

Bring your questions! While the first half of this event will be a presentation, the second half will be an open Q&A session with Sarah and Liz.

About The Presenters

Liz Perraud serves as Executive Director of GenOn Ministries, a nonprofit organization that partners with churches to nurture intergenerational Christ-centered community. She is a contributor to “InterGenerate” (“The Art of Christian Relationships” chapter) and “Engage All Generations” (“Intergenerational Community Around the Table” chapter).

Sarah Bentley Allred is Editor of Building Faith and Associate for Christian Formation & Discipleship in Lifelong Learning. Before joining the Department of Lifelong Learning, Sarah served as Director of Children and Youth Ministries for four years and then completed the MDiv. program at VTS with a focus on Christian formation. She is passionate about children’s spirituality, intergenerational worship, and small church formation. Find out more at sarahbentleyallred.com.
