Peter Levenstrong (he/him/his)

Peter Levenstrong (he/him) is Associate Rector at St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church in San Francisco, CA. Passionate about intergenerational faith formation, he is the creator of Living Stories, an innovative homiletical model that transforms the sermon into a communal storytelling experience. Rooted in the Montessori and Godly Play traditions, Living Stories engages congregations of all ages in co-creating sermons through tactile storytelling and wondering questions. Peter is dedicated to reimagining preaching as a participatory act that fosters deep spiritual connection and belonging.
