Building Faith @ Rooted in Jesus

Sometimes serving as a Christian Formation leader in a parish can be lonely work. The FORMA Conference (this year a pre-conference prior to the larger Rooted in Jesus conference) provides me with much needed inspiration and connection to others who understand the ups and downs of this work.
~Sarah Bentley Allred, Building Faith Editor

Learning, Promoting, Presenting

This week most of the Building Faith editorial team and the Department of Lifelong Learning staff are attending the Rooted in Jesus conference in Atlanta, Georgia. We are thrilled to be here learning from innovative leaders from around the Episcopal Church, finding new potential writers from Building Faith, introducing Building Faith to formation folks from around the country, being filled up through worship and fellowship, and presenting workshops (you can check out everything Lifelong Learning is up to here!).

Look Who We Found!

It has been wonderful to connect with so many Building Faith writers here at Rooted in Jesus!

Sarah Bentley Allred (Building Faith Editor) &
Christine Hides (Director of Christian Education, Kenilworth Union Church)
Charlotte Hand Greeson (Building Faith Editor) &
Wendy Claire Barrie (Program Manager for Children & Youth, Trinity Wall Street)

Jenifer Gamber (Associate Rector and Chaplain to the Day School, St. Patrick’s DC) &
Sharon Ely Pearson (soon to retire from Church Publishing Incorporated)
