Video Skits for Church and Youth Group – Funny and Powerful

“The themes are directly related to Christian life, and they always include a challenge or thought provoking question.”

Video Skits
A great way to kickoff a youth group discussion is by watching a quick online video. Preachers can also use videos within sermons or homilies at church. Two of my favorite resources for Christian video skits are The Skit Guys and One Time Blind.

You may have heard of these sites, and if not, you are in for a treat! The videos are funny, well produced, and well acted. The themes are directly related to Christian life, and they always include a challenge or thought provoking question. Both groups have dozens of videos, and you can search them by theme, topic, etc.

How to Purchase the Videos
With both of these resources, here’s the deal. You can watch many of them for free on youtube. Using these free previews is appropriate if you are sharing with a friend, or group of friends, and only watching it once. But if you are showing them for a group, in worship, at a retreat, or as part of a class, then yes you should buy the official versions.

Remember that these mini movies are expensive to create, and the organizations depend on sales to keep going. To buy the videos, go to the official websites and purchase through the easy online system. Yes, they seem a bit expensive, but you will be supporting a good ministry and doing the right thing!

Also, when you purchase the video, it will be in beautiful high definition and downloadable in the file format of your choice. You can download the video and use it whenever you like, as much as you like. And of course it won’t say “preview” across the screen.
